Technician Job Description:

As a Sanders Ground Essentials Weed Control Technician, you will be dedicated to providing high quality, customer-focused lawn care and help us in beautifying Central Arkansas one yard at a time.  Our technicians service both residential and commercial customers by making timely applications to their turf and landscape.  
 

The ideal candidate for this position will meet the Technician qualifications and responsibilities below. 

Technician Qualifications:

 

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and no restrictions

  • Must be able to pass drug screen and background check

  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to meet production goals and have excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Enthusiastic, teachable with an eager-to-learn attitude 

  • Ability to work outside year-round in various weather conditions

  • Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs, push a broadcast spreader loaded with fertilizer and walk long distances.

  • Must have a positive attitude, high level of integrity and be a team player who takes pride in your work

  • Able to work in harmony with co-workers and customers

      Technician Responsibilities:

  • Provide weed control and fertilization services as well as other services that may include, but are not limited to, various insect control and fungicide applications.  

  • Learn to analyze lawns to identify various grasses, weeds, fungi, etc.

  • Provide recommendations to improve the quality of our customers lawns.

  • Complete all paperwork in a timely manner. 

  • Record information in our internet-based software throughout the day as jobs are completed.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by treating each property with respect in a consistent and meticulous manner.

  • Maintain cleanliness of your assigned work truck and equipment
