The fire ant is a pesky insect that can ruin your lawn or yard. If you catch the problem early, when one or two mounds have started to form, you can pour hot water on the mounds to try and control the problem before it spreads. For a more widespread form of lawn control, you can make a mixture of citrus oil and soap to use against the ants. After the mixture is prepared, drench your lawn anywhere the mounds have started to form. If this still doesn't help, you may need to give the pros at Sanders Ground a call!
